In addition, it is used as an intermediate for the synthesis of other compounds. 3,5-Dimethylpyrazole is also used in organic synthesis reactions involving carboxylates or fatty acids that require hydrogen bonding interactions or transfer reactions. This chemical can be found in group P2 of the periodic table and has a crystallography of C1 symmetry. The pyrazole ring is composed of five atoms: one nitrogen atom, two carbon atoms, and two hydrogen atoms. This molecule binds to receptors on cells by forming intramolecular hydrogen bonds between the receptor's amine functional groups and 3,5-dimethoxypyrazole's hydroxyl functional groups.
