Sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate is an antirust additive synthesized after sulfonation and neutralization of alkylbenzene, and its emulsifying performance is good.

It can be combined with other additives to form emulsified cutting oil, wire cutting fluid, hydraulic transmission fluid, internal combustion engine coolant and other emulsified oils.

It has similar properties to sodium petroleum sulfonate, so it can be used instead of sodium petroleum sulfonate in the production of certain products, especially in emulsified oils.
